Creating a website to be quick and clean means keeping the use of images to a minimum. So the way to keep the use of images down is to use the power of CSS3.

CSS3 allows you to not only create gradients without using images but also add some finishing touches such as rounded corners and drop shadows.

You could ofcourse create your CSS3 gradients by hand, coding every piece of it but heres an easier way. Use Colorzilla. Colorzilla is a almost photoshop visual interface that is web based. You create the gradient by using the slider then copy your css code into your website stylesheet under the right id or class.

Pay for web design monthly?

So, given the current economic climate we’ve decided that it might be a good idea to offer you to be able to pay monthly for your web design and web development.

Web design may cost an awful lot of money and run into the thousands of pounds bracket depending on the complexity of your site integration.

Over the next few weeks we will propose a pricing structure to suit those that wish to have a website for their business but are currently struggling financially…. it’s one of those six and two three’s scenarios, you need more business but you can’t afford to have a website built for your business…. well this could be the answer to your prayors.

This is very much a tester to see how the scheme could run and whether it would be sustainable.

Another option is for us to offer a one off small payment then offer a monthly fee that is ongoing which would include hosting, upgrades to software’s used ie for eCommerce or cms etc.
